Geely is making a confident step into the Russian market — the Geely EX5 EM-i electric crossover has successfully passed the Euro NCAP safety test and received the highest rating.
The test results are impressive:
- protection of the driver and adult passengers — 90%
- child safety — 87%
- pedestrian protection — 86%
- electronic assistants — 77%
In all collision scenarios, the crossover showed a high level of interior protection, which indicates a well-thought-out body design and effective passive safety systems.
Euro NCAP experts noted that the side pillars, the front edge of the hood and the lower part of the windshield may pose the greatest potential danger to pedestrians.
The technical stuffing is also at the same level: the hybrid installation includes a 1.5-liter 99 hp engine, an E-DHT transmission and a 218 hp electric motor. The total power reserve reaches 943 km.
