What's wrong with the factory settings?
Toyota has put serious potential in the 2.5 engine. But factory restrictions are always a compromise. The manufacturer must comply with environmental regulations and average the characteristics for different markets.
As a result, the Camry XV80 in stock can:
• Be dull when starting abruptly; 
• It takes longer than we would like to overtake on the highway.;
• Switch between EV and ICE modes is not smooth enough;
• Do not let you feel frisky during the trip. 
And all this despite the fact that the motor is capable of more. You may not even notice these flaws, because the difference in many ways can be felt in comparison.

About the results of chip tuning
At IMCHIP, we believe that the client needs not just numbers on charts, but real emotions behind the wheel. Therefore, our philosophy is reasonable and safe tuning, which makes the car alive, but does not kill the resource.
For the Toyota Camry XV80 2.5 Hybrid, we offer a Stage 1 software upgrade that changes the nature of the car.
What will be the increase:
Power 232 hp → 262 hp (+30 hp);
The torque is 221 Nm → 241 Nm (+20 Nm).

Driving is a real pleasure! There is peace of mind, because the car becomes as predictable and maneuverable as possible. It provides a balance between smoothness and agility.
• Earlier: you step on the gas, the car starts moving smoothly, then hesitates a little, then picks up. Now: click – let's go. The reaction of the accelerator pedal became instant. You are the first to leave the traffic light, even without the desire to "chase" – simply because the car listens with half a word.
• Earlier: you drive into the oncoming lane, step on the gas, wait for a second and a half until the hybrid system gathers its thoughts, and only then does acceleration begin. Now: a light pedal movement – and the Camry literally shoots forward, acceleration time is shortened. 
• Improved smooth transition between EV (electric motor) and ICE (internal combustion engine) modes. They become almost completely invisible.
• Fuel consumption savings are also possible. How does it work? We optimize the engine's operating algorithms, as a result, each combustion cycle becomes more efficient. You no longer need to push the gas to the floor to gain the desired speed, and consequently less fuel is consumed. In practice, this reduces fuel consumption by an average of 5-10% with a balanced ride. 

Safety and warranty 
How does the installation work?
• Via the standard OBD diagnostic connector;
• No removal of the control unit (ECU);
• Without removing ecological systems. 

And if I want to return it as it was?
The works are completely reversible. We can return the factory firmware at any time. The car will return to stock condition, and no traces of interference will remain. No firmware counters, nothing that could indicate the presence of firmware.

Is the dealer's warranty still valid?
Yes. 

What will happen to the engine life?
We don't go beyond the safe limits. The 2.5 engine initially has a reserve laid down by Toyota. Our +30 hp is not an extreme squeeze, but a competent optimization of factory settings.
